The IGF has released its 2019 Annual Report which outlines an eventful year which included welcoming five new member countries, hosting more than 500 delegates at its Annual General Meeting and delivering several targeted workshops and training initiatives.
IGF remains committed to working with its member nations to leverage mining for sustainable development to ensure negative impacts are limited and financial benefits are shared. It is devoted to optimizing the benefits of mining to achieve poverty reduction, inclusive growth, social development and environmental stewardship.
