A team from the IGF Secretariat went to the 2024 OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains to attend sessions and meet with members, partners, and other mining sector stakeholders. In addition, IGF representatives spoke during the following sessions:

- Marina Ruete, IGF Senior Law Advisor spoke during the following session: Illicit Trade Risks in Gold Supply Chains from Latin America
- Ege Tekinbas, IGF Gender Equality Advisor, moderated the following session: Reclaiming Power? Perspectives from the Global South on Addressing Structural Barriers to Female Participation in ASM
