The IGF and United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) organized the sixth researchers’ seminar on Extractive Industries: Taxation and Revenues.
This virtual seminar took place on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 14:00–15:30 GMT. The theme of the workshop was: Critical Minerals and Revenue Generation.
The aim was to bring together researchers around the world who are working on taxation of extractive industries to share information about their ongoing research and their research plans, as well as to share ideas on data, methods, and how to achieve policy impact. And of course, to connect and network.
