Training Details
Date:
January 21, 2020 to January 01, 1970
Location:
Dakar, Senegal

Together with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Developments (OECD), we will be delivering a four-day training on international taxation and the mining industry, focusing on base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS).

The training will take place in Dakar, Senegal, from January 21 to 24. Participants will explore a range of BEPS issues in mining, including:

  • Transfer pricing risks along the mining value chain (offshore marketing hubs, intercompany loans, corporate services, and others)
  • Verifying mineral product prices
  • Double tax treaties
  • Fiscal stabilization

The IGF and OECD are committed to working with all levels of government to address critical mining revenue issues. Tax administrators and officials from the ministries of finance and mining of 10 Francophone countries are expected to attend the training.
